About The Artwork:

I wanted to combine the chaoticness of the streets of Thamel with the calmness of anime street scenes. So I sketched out my own character walking down Thamel to represent myself walking in Thamel as I am familiar with the place because my father’s office is in Thamel and I go there often. I wanted this artwork to feel like it’s me so even if the character I made doesn’t look like me, it atleast has my personality. Others may not see it until they read about the artwork, but this artwork is quite personal for me. The character in the artwork’s name is “Kai” as that is my nickname on the internet.
